In the fantasy world of magic, instead of using candles to lit-up an area of the house, the residents use magical light bulbs. These light bulbs are much safer than the candles since there are no flames involved. The light source is contained inside the bulb, an endless flow of magical energy which will glow and illuminate in darkness. The major flaw is that there is no on and off switch. If you really want to block the light, you will need to cover them up. The light source may last forever but the containment may not though. Once broken, the spell will disappear into the atmosphere.
