For this animated AI artwork project, I wanted to work on the iconic Torii Gate. It is one of the most sacred structures in Japan where Kami is thought to travel through. I was imagining maybe through our eyes, we can’t see the mystical auras of these red torii gates. And maybe if we see it in another frequency/wavelength, we can find there is magical energy surrounding them. Hence I started to work on the base image of the project based on my imagination. I tried to make the Torii Gate picture just a little exaggerated and surreal.
