Old Japanese-style houses with an amazing waterfront view, but poorly maintained, and some seem to be abandoned. Near these traditional rustic Japanese homes are statues which most of them are covered in moss. The locations they were built on, the worn-out houses and statues, all helped to create a sense of mystery. Maybe the answer could be a simple one though, the residents residing in these homes just wanted a peaceful and quiet environment, or they wanted a home where they can enjoy a scenic waterfront view everyday, without the need to leave their houses to do so.
