Some of the pillars within the city are remnants of ancient time, reminding the residents of what it used to be. They are scattered around the cityscape, becoming iconic landmarks where people gather or meet. A few of these great pillars were reconstructed, others were simply left behind, but most of them were removed though, due to the demand for modern buildings. As the city expands, the population ever increasing, will these great pillars survive the change? Only time will tell, for now, we should cherish what’s remained before they vanish.
