I always love seeing traditional Japanese-style buildings and structures within the modern cities of Japan. Other than having an excited surprise when spotting them during our city travels, the modern surroundings somehow amplify the aesthetic of these traditional buildings and structures, making them look even more beautiful. They feel like a rest stop for our mind and eyes, allowing us to look at something else instead of the vast concrete jungle of the major cities in Japan.
