Space is scarce in Cyberpunk City, if you own land there, this means you are incredibly rich. Not to mention, most lands are owned by major corporations. Retail space is very expensive, and if your business doesn’t have a good profit margin, you probably won’t survive. This is why instead of renting the whole shop, getting an outdoor space will be much cheaper since nobody really likes them. Some “genius” decided to use this outdoor space of a shop/building to set up a laundromat. Letting their customers be exposed to the weather and environments when doing their laundry. “Well at least the outdoor laundromats are functional”, says one of the owners.
