These are secluded fishing villages of Japan and they are surrounded by the beauty of nature. I wanted to make them look whimsical without being too surreal, hence I decided to add a giant tree with purple flowers. I also set it in a way that you are viewing the Japanese fishing villages from the sea. The rustic feel of the village architecture makes them seem old but without looking ugly. This aspect reminded me of Wabi Sabi and made me realize, I haven’t done such a project for a very long time. And now, I am eager to use Midjourney to start working on a Wabi Sabi themed AI art project.
