Part of the fun of visiting iconic landmarks in a foreign country is the journey, and there are times the shops near these places can be fascinating. I remember planning to visit a Japanese castle, and was pleasantly surprised to see shops near it. I mean it should comes with no surprise, as these shops are trying to capture the foot traffic of tourists visiting the castle. These shops are selling from amazing food to souvenir, so many things to see and shop before the grand finale. I really liked the shops which have been there for decades, you can see the age just by looking at the interiors and decor.
