Brutalist architectural-style buildings can really stand out a lot. I remember in Japan, I was surrounded by mainly traditional Japanese houses then all of a sudden I came upon an abandoned building with brutalism architecture. It was so out of the ordinary, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was curious as to why such a building was built here, and why was it abandoned. So many questions that day, but overall it was a cool discovery, and it really leaves an impression. I guess this is part of the fun of travel, you’ll never know what you’ll find.
