A cold and dark town with endless snow, where the night is longer than the day. With such low visibility, especially during a heavy snow, it is difficult to navigate the snowy town. Residents started to use bright neon lights, creating some sort of a “code” to let the residents or patrons know what they are. So at least the people know whether is a resident’s house or a type of business establishments, e.g. a restaurant. Others say these codes don’t work, but they like the ambience these neon lights created for this snow-covered town.
