Spider-Man once merged with the terrifying symbiote which gave him incredible strength but made him more aggressive in return. I saw the merging of them on the big screen and cartoon series, and it was fun to watch, even though they are not perfect. It was refreshing to see Spider-Man overpowering supervillains who are supposed to be stronger than him in terms of strength (the version before merging with the symbiote).
