There is a reason why at certain times of the day, nobody in this town would ever step out of their house. A nightmarish hunter will appear and start hunting any living beings it sees. When the mist is lifted and the hungry growl noise is gone, this is when it is safe to come out and play. It’s just a wild imagination of having a ravenous indestructible creature from another dimension hunting the streets. It would certainly be terrifying for me and I would do my very best to move out of the town as soon as humanly possible.
