The red Torii Gates help to add that mystical aura without overwhelming the rest of the image. They also show how Neo Tokyo City has expanded so much as it grows around them. These gates reflect how far Tokyo has advanced technologically and was once a simple traditional Japanese city.
During the process, Midjourney generated these two images without the presence of a Torii Gate. They look nice so I decided to still upload them here.
