When you dine at a restaurant, it is not always about the food that makes a good dining experience. Yes, there is no doubt the dishes are the main contributing factor, but there are other factors at play as well. For instance, the interior and decor of the restaurant, the ambiance should help enhance your overall dining experience too. This is when I started to think about the restaurant’s surroundings, will they help to improve the experience? As I ponder, my mind wandered off to the old Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong city, thus this AI artwork project was born.
